The following changes have been made between 1.06 and 1.08:

IMPROVEMENTS:

  • Better memory consumption and stability when using trace viewer and tools.
  • Log panel:
    • Big logs can be read.
    • Smooth scrolling without jumps.
    • Log panel is no more hanging with python script output.
  • Open/Save dialog opens in the previously used directory by an open or save dialog.
  • Information panel is more user friendly.
  • Statistics for ISO7816 protocol can process Markers channel.
  • Trace viewer is display-scale aware.
  • Support now open a panel containing the versions of the installed products and a button to contact the support.

  • Quest can now open .xdata files with no more tool requirement

  • Analog Viewer tool and Quest UI do not conflict anymore.
  • Mouse no longer lag during polling
  • Fixed CPU timeout when opening Trigger Menu
    • Fixed some memory issues with tools
    • Flyout will now be properly closed in the Tools UIs and the Trace UI
    • ProxiLAB.exe and ProxiSPY.exe services should stop themselves on Quest exit
    • Trace UI now handle Windows text size settings
    • Drag and Dropping a command in Scenario UI non longer freeze the scrollbar
    • The Log will now be more reactive

Initial release of Quest, compatible with ProxiLAB Quest platform only.

The following features are available:

  • Settings and commands panels, to easily control ProxiLAB Quest.
  • Trace viewer, providing a user friendly interface to display complex protocol analysis and information.
  • Scenario editor, simply drag-and-drop a command available in ProxiLAB API, and the editor will write the script for you, making scenario development easier than ever.
  • Toolbox, containing pre-configured characterization tests to enable single-click access to contactless tests such as waveform analysis and performance profiling.
  • Workbook, allowing to organize your daily work, store and share characterization tests results, traces or scenarios with others.

To guide you through your first steps with Quest, an overview tour is available with the Help button in the Toolbox view.

WARNING!
A known bug affects this Quest version when the path to the user's directory contains Asian characters.
If a message box indicates an error ("Could not open [...]") when a tool is opened in Quest, you are affected by this bug.
The only workaround for the moment is to use a different Windows account containing only alphanumeric characters.
